About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the marketing relationship manager and marketing strategist for several financial advisor brands
- Act as a client-facing project manager and task executor responsible for communications
- Curate and implement digital marketing editorial calendars for blogs, e-newsletters, email campaigns, digital ads, and social media
- Create traditional advertisements including print, billboard, and radio, and negotiate publication rates
- Implement prospect engagement, niche prospecting processes, and advisor-practice workflows to drive business growth
- Establish and measure ROI and KPIs including email CTR, social media engagement, and website traffic
- Produce each advisor’s marketing plan using LPL’s tools and advisor preferences
- Schedule and host regular bi-weekly discussions with advisors
- Maintain advisor brands, websites, and blogs with internal and external parties
- Collaborate with advisor office staff on cohesive messaging and communications, including coaching for events and seminars
- Collaborate with compliance to ensure content, branding, and messaging comply with SEC, LPL policy, and FINRA rules
- Collaborate with fellow marketing consultants to provide advisor feedback and program enhancements
- Support LPL advisors via phone and email
- Travel occasionally, less than 10%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
- 5-7 years experience in marketing and digital marketing
- Experience with CRM, inbound marketing tools, and web management
- Knowledge of e-commerce, social media advertising, PPC, SEO, and SEM
- Understanding of offset and digital print
- Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
- Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Google Adwords
- Familiarity with Salesforce and AdvisorStream preferred
- Financial services experience preferred
