About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and trade LPL's centrally-managed platforms day to day
  • Ensure accounts are managed in line with selected investment strategies
  • Participate in OPMG trading and platform-maintenance processes
  • Review, approve, and upload model security portfolios from investment managers and strategists
  • Review and approve large trades
  • Research complex situations and define resolution actions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on operational policies and procedures for a centrally managed platform
  • Improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk
  • Support leadership on multiple overlapping projects
  • Test and implement projects
  • Analyze internal data sets and build stakeholder reports
  • Act as a primary contact between OPMG and external and internal business partners
  • Develop regular and ad-hoc reports on centrally managed platform drivers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Series 7 and 65 (or 66) licenses
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial industry and/or processing in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • 1+ years of service-oriented experience working with clients, other firms, service teams, offshore partners, and business units
  • Effective team player
  • Ability to handle escalated items timely and accurately
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and in meetings to implement or support processes and projects
  • Client-first, customer-service-oriented mindset from a financial background
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written abilities
  • Strong analytical ability, productivity, and accuracy under time constraints
  • Ability to contribute positively to a team-focused environment
  • Bachelor's degree listed as a preference
  • Proficient in BETA
  • Proficient in Vestmark
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Introductory Visual Basic knowledge
  • Excel Macro (Visual Basic) experience
  • Business process improvement experience
