About the role

  • Provide consulting to advisors on financial planning practice management, including process design, service and pricing models, technology integration, and business model optimization. Develop comprehensive financial plans using planning software and collaborate with advisors to implement strategies tailored to client needs. Educate advisors on planning opportunities such as retirement, estate, tax, and risk management strategies. Deliver virtual and in-person training sessions and create educational materials to support advisor growth and planning proficiency. Support onboarding of advisors to financial planning tools and resources. Identify opportunities for plan implementation and facilitate referrals across departments. Contribute to the creation and refinement of content, tools, and resources that enhance advisor capabilities and client outcomes. Analyze data to monitor engagement and effectiveness of planning initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to promote financial planning services and align efforts with broader business goals. Participate in advisor engagements and internal initiatives to represent the Financial Planning Services team. Consult with advisors and enterprise program leaders to activate or refine their financial planning approach. Facilitate peer engagement opportunities to share best practices and promote adoption of planning tools and services. Stay current on financial planning trends and apply insights to team initiatives and advisor support. Assist in managing planning-related escalations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial planning or advisor consulting. Proficiency in financial planning software (eMoney preferred). Experience in delivering education or consulting in a financial planning context. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once. Preferences: FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 preferred. CFP® certification strongly preferred or in progress.
