About the role
- Guide the project from inception to completion with preparation, monitoring and control of budgets, schedules, and Work Plan during all phases of a project.
- Lead the project team and partner other team members to develop innovative design solutions in support of the LPA brand.
- Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with clients, builders, governing authorities, stakeholders and team members.
- Ensure the design is in alignment to any client specific standards (design guidelines, education specifications, development standards, etc.) and implementation.
- Prepare additional services when appropriate, mitigating uncompensated services.
- Review contractual and financial construction administration documents.
- Sign and stamp, as a licensed professional, all project related documentation which has been prepared under the supervision and direction of Managing Director.
- Coordinate with other Project Managers to effectively plan and execute overlapping project milestones.
- Inspire and mentor team members and help train and upskill them.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture required
- 8+ years of experience in all phases of architectural projects
- Landscape Architectural license required
- Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft products is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills: focused, articulate and motivated
- Knowledge in management of project business: scope, fee, schedule, work plans and budgets
- Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
- Ability to inspire collaboration between client and projects teams as the single point of contact.
