Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
Help customers find and select products and guide them through shopping or checkout
Occasionally load merchandise and assist with handling merchandise
Down stock merchandise by replenishing supplies and organizing shelves
Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to deliver the best customer service
Prepare merchandise in your department (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
Spend most of the time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise
Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience (preferred)
Bi-lingual skills (preferred)
Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) (preferred)
