About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape end-to-end experiences by shipping amazing new experiences that drive better conversion and engagement for our customers as we grow our footprint across Europe.
  • Balance technical constraints with product needs, enabling consistent experiences so we can maintain quality across journeys and platforms.
  • Ask questions, explore data and talk to users to build context, then use what you find to define hypotheses and prioritise work.
  • Monitor key metrics like bookings, drop-off and NPS to stay focused on what drives value, and connect product design decisions to the data behind them.
  • Communicate with clarity. Build strong narratives around your work, choosing the right approaches to proactively and openly bring people on the design journey together.
  • Collaborate and unblock issues quickly, simplifying and clarifying processes for yourself and others, utilising AI to balance speed with quality and impact.
  • Design with accessibility from the start. Treat it as a core part of the craft, not a final check, and understand how your work connects to both customer outcomes and loveholidays’ broader goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong interaction and visual design craft: you excel at applying visual and interaction design fundamentals with intention, and hold a high bar for quality across every touchpoint.
  • Systems thinking: you have demonstrable experience designing holistic flows and user journeys rather than isolated screens, and you understand how your product area connects to the broader customer experience and business goals.
  • Data informed and user-centred: you are comfortable tracking and interpreting metrics, exploring available data to build context, and using insights and to inform decisions rather than relying on instinct alone.
  • Clear, considered communication: you can explain your design decisions and know how to match the format and detail level to the audience and moment.
  • AI-driven growth mindset: you are always looking to learn and improve your practice, this includes proactively embracing new AI-assisted development and automation tools to accelerate and refine your practice.
  • Accessibility and Design System fluency: you are experienced at designing with accessibility in mind from the start and working confidently within a design system, improving components where needed and maintaining consistency across journeys and platforms.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the travel sector or other D2C e-commerce environments.
