About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • To make sure that sample packages are properly unpacked, logged in, ironed and organised before each fit session.
  • Checking measurements and taking photos during fittings
  • Support Designers and Product Developers by documenting fit comments during fit sessions, with the goal of eventually leading fit sessions independently once sufficiently experienced.
  • Able to identify fit issues during fitting sessions and quickly propose practical solutions to address them.
  • Accurately measure and log garment measurements at each sample stage
  • Proactively flags fit issues and seeks support or guidance in a timely manner when needed.
  • Executes and translates fit comments accurately, ensuring clear and timely communication to minimize misunderstandings, reduce resample rounds, and keep sample development on track.
  • Balances product quality, manufacturability, production cost, and selling price to protect target margins, while driving creative and innovative solutions to optimize material usage and reduce production costs.
  • Support Product Developers with day to day supplier queries.
  • Track and manage sampling timelines with respective suppliers.
  • Provides administrative support, including parcel invoicing, and collaborates with the team to develop guidebooks, SOPs, reports, presentations, and other documentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of experience in the apparel industry
  • Diploma in Fashion Apparel or relevant textile / clothing experience acquired in manufacturing
  • Proficient in all fundamental technical aspects of garment-making and fitting
  • Excellent organisational and follow-up skills as well as the ability to work independently
  • Good command of both written & spoken English and Mandarin is necessary
