About the role
- Own the strategy planning, forecasting and reporting processes, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Become the trusted finance partner to leadership, the commercial and product team.
- Lead analysis on pricing, unit economics and cost optimisation initiatives across the business.
- Lead and/or support the CEO on external matters such as: board meeting preparation, fundraising, investor relations, and M&A activity.
- Play a key role in building out the function, including designing the tech stack from scratch and improving the planning cycles.
- Define how finance supports and effectively challenges the wider business.
- Create the models and narratives that drive how leadership evaluates opportunities and performance.
- Implement robust cost and workforce management frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, ideally with some combination of strategy consulting and in-house finance or commercial roles.
- A commercially sharp operator who has owned end-to-end business planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.
- Display strong analytical and modelling skills with deep understanding of revenue dynamics, relevant business metrics and financial statements.
- Demonstrate strong business partnering skills, with the ability to challenge department heads and earn their trust.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and align senior stakeholders around shared objectives and priorities.
- You’re confident in data analysis (SQL, building out dashboards, etc.).
