About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish the New Operations Mobilization (MNO) function from inception, defining the operating model, methodology, processes, tools, governance and KPIs, with the objective of creating a permanent institutional capability to enable new business.
  • Lead end-to-end mobilization of new operations, from contract signing through stabilization and handover to the manager responsible for the ongoing operation, ensuring disciplined execution and adherence to the plan.
  • Ensure compliance with the business case during ramp-ups by rigorously monitoring costs, timelines, headcount, CAPEX, OPEX and performance, and acting immediately on deviations to protect contract profitability.
  • Design and run robust pilots for new operations, defining scope, success metrics, exit criteria and structured capture of lessons learned to reduce risk and accelerate the stabilization curve.
  • Build and maintain operational mobilization playbooks (technical, people, governance and transition), ensuring each operation is delivered to the responsible manager with clear methods, defined processes and a trained team.
  • Lead and coordinate the multifunctional mobilization squad, composed of representatives from People & Culture (P&C), Finance, Center of Excellence (CoE), Procurement and PMO, aligning priorities, responsibilities and execution cadence.
  • Serve as a structured interface between New Business (the contract origin) and the operational areas that will assume the operation after stabilization, ensuring continuity, knowledge transfer and quality of handover.
  • Manage critical mobilization risks (operational, contractual, people, supplier and regulatory), developing contingency plans and escalating issues promptly that threaten the success of the ramp-up.
  • Lead, together with People & Culture, the personnel ramp-up for new operations, ensuring recruitment, onboarding, training and readiness of operational teams before go-live and during stabilization.
  • Coordinate, together with Procurement and the CoE, the contracting of suppliers, infrastructure, fleet, technology and other enablers required for mobilization, within defined timelines, costs and standards.
  • Establish mobilization governance rituals (status reports, committees, milestones and gates) with executive leadership, clients and internal areas, ensuring visibility, transparency and timely decisions.
  • Capture lessons learned from each mobilization, continuously evolving the methodology, playbooks and the area's maturity curve, with the goal of increasing predictability and speed over time.
  • Recruit, train and develop the MNO team's staff, establishing a culture of discipline, ownership and operational excellence from the first team.
