Key responsibilities & impact

Review and correct any billing discrepancies.
Prepares invoicing for a large customer.
Prepares and analyzes reporting for credit cards.
Reviews and reconciles GL accounts and credit card transactions.
Assists in month end close process.
Prepares invoices according to information provided by Prime Contractors.
Support in audit requests and pulling requested items for audits.
Enters accounts payable invoices when needed.
Performs various back up functions to the Project Accountant and Staff Accountant as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree or 2 years experience in accounting or business-related field.
Work independently and manage multiple tasks, including assignment of proper prioritization, exercise initiative, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of general ledger accounts.
Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
Knowledge in accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Knowledge in CostPoint preferred.
Intermediate-level computer skills.
