About the role
- Lead development of human health and ecological risk assessments under CERCLA or state regulations.
- Work with other staff on data management and development of conceptual site models.
- Response to client and agency comments on risk assessments.
- Work on risk aspects of CERCLA or RCRA documents such as CMS, RIs, Proposed Plans, Feasibility Studies, RODs, 5 Yr Reviews, ESDs and ROD Amendments.
- Understand the basis of remedial goals and how to update.
- Support Vapor intrusion risk assessments.
- Support development of sampling plans such that sufficient samples, of acceptable quality, will be developed for evaluation in the risk assessments.
Requirements
- Master of Science (MS) degree with a focus in environmental toxicology.
- Certification from the International Board of Environmental Risk Assessors.
- A minimum of 25 years of professional experience in environmental risk assessment or a related field.
