About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will take responsibility for the monthly payroll processing for a portion of our German hotels and clinics — reliably and with attention to detail.
- You will handle certification and reporting obligations and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- You will work closely with social security agencies and government authorities.
- You will accurately record and maintain all relevant employee data in a structured manner.
- You will be the primary contact for our employees on questions related to payroll as well as social security and tax matters.
- You will act as a key interface between our hotels and internal departments throughout the payroll process.
- With your expertise you will support our HR department on all issues related to payroll and social security law.
- You will actively contribute to exciting projects aimed at automating, standardizing and optimizing our payroll processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have completed a commercial vocational training, e.g., as an accountant, or hold a comparable qualification.
- You have substantial professional experience in German payroll accounting.
- You have good knowledge of tax and social security law.
- You are experienced in working with payroll systems.
- Ideally, you have SAP experience and can support us with the system implementation.
- You work independently, in a structured way, and enjoy taking responsibility.
- You have excellent German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken.
- You are well organized and keep an overview even when handling complex tasks.
- You enjoy working in an agile, self-directed team.
- You have strong communication skills and a pronounced sensitivity in dealing with people.
