About the role

  • Drafting complex procedural documents, including initial petitions, answers, replies, appeals, legal memoranda and incidental filings, with consistent technical argumentation and adherence to the firm’s strategic positions.
  • Practice in general civil litigation and civil enforcement/execution proceedings, including analysis of enforcement mechanisms, challenges and exceptions, and defense measures for the judgment debtor.
  • Advanced doctrinal and case-law research, with focus on property auctions, procedural nullities, fiduciary alienation (foreclosure/security interests), right of first refusal, unduly low sale price ("preço vil"), exemption from attachment and other contemporary civil procedure topics.
  • Critical analysis of documents, including property registry records, auction notices, extrajudicial notifications, financing agreements, certificates and court files, identifying relevant formal and substantive defects.
  • Support in preparing legal opinions, compiling legal bases, qualified precedents and specialized doctrine.
  • Development of litigation strategies in collaboration with the partner and coordinator, proposing viable and technically sound solutions to increase the success rate of cases.

Requirements

  • Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Significant advantage: advanced expertise in Civil Procedure.
  • Experience or familiarity with civil enforcement/execution will be considered a plus.
  • Aptitude for legal research, technical writing and in-depth procedural analysis.
  • Ability for critical analysis, attention to detail and organization of complex information.
  • Clear, precise and persuasive legal writing.
  • Knowledge of the Astrea system is an operational plus.
