About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- **Key Responsibilities
- - Learn and contribute to our advertising-focused SDKs under the guidance of Staff level engineers
- - Assist in building and maintaining test apps used by developers and QA to validate SDKs
- - Continuously learn and improve Claude Code workflows to enhance code quality, productivity, and efficiency in Android SDK development
- - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following team standards
- - Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and provide peer feedback
- - Help investigate and debug creative rendering issues with support from the team
- - Collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and senior developers on feature implementation
- - Write and maintain unit tests for SDK components
- - Contribute to technical documentation for SDK integration
- - Stay updated with Android development trends and share learnings with the team**
Requirements
What you’ll need- **Key Skills & Experience
- Required:
- - Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- - Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written — essential for daily collaboration with our international team across USA, Poland, and Ukraine
- - Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate coding workflows, learning, and problem-solving
- - 7+ years of commercial or substantial personal project experience with mobile development
- - 4+ years of commercial or substantial personal project experience with Android development
- - SDK development experience
- - Foundational knowledge of Kotlin and Java
- - Exposure to MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture patterns
- - Understanding of core Android concepts:**- Activities, Fragments, Services**- Application lifecycle and state management**- UI development (XML layouts, Jetpack Compose basics)**- Concurrency**- Networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp)
- - Familiarity with Android Studio and Gradle build system
- - Best software testing practices
- - Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data handling
- - Basic knowledge of iOS/Swift development
- - Experience with Git version control
- Nice-to-Have:
- - Published apps on Google Play Store
- - Familiarity with GitHub Actions or CI/CD concepts**
