About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including but not limited to financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide insights into financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist in the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
Support in the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, including gathering input from various departments, creating and updating financial models, and tracking performance against budget.
Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to drive informed decision-making. Present findings and recommendations to Leadership, alongside the broader Strategic Finance team.
Prepare and present regular financial reports and presentations to management, shareholders, and other stakeholders. Develop and design new internal and external reporting packages and dashboards.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with relevant teams to implement efficiency measures without compromising key objectives.
Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CPA or Master's degree preferred).
3+ years of experience in a combination of Audit at a Big 4 firm, FP&A, or Accounting.
Experience in financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to confidently interact with an executive level audience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop conclusions and explain key takeaways and recommendations.
Detail-oriented and proactive, able to work both independently and in a team.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Great time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects.
Experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Finance systems (Netsuite, Cube, etc.) considered an asset.
