About the role
- Assist the team with the implementation of the new Workday General Ledger accounting system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of financial transactions across the Group.
- Calculate monthly revenue accruals and ensure RCTI invoices are prepared in line with expectations.
- Prepare accurate monthly consolidated management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Track, analyse, and report on budget variances.
- Support strong financial stewardship, including monitoring cash flow and capital expenditure.
- Support tax filings and statutory obligations as required.
- Maintain accurate and timely general ledgers for individual entities, business units, and the consolidated group.
- Ensure timely and accurate bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with payroll processing as needed.
- Maintain effective governance frameworks and reporting systems to meet legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations.
- Liaise with auditors and external advisors to support compliance and corporate integrity.
- Ensure internal controls and audit processes are robust and aligned with industry standards.
- Undertake finance-related project work at the direction of the Head of Finance or other members of the finance team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar Financial Accountant role.
- Workday General Ledger experience highly desirable.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
