About the role

  • Assist the team with the implementation of the new Workday General Ledger accounting system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of financial transactions across the Group.
  • Calculate monthly revenue accruals and ensure RCTI invoices are prepared in line with expectations.
  • Prepare accurate monthly consolidated management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Track, analyse, and report on budget variances.
  • Support strong financial stewardship, including monitoring cash flow and capital expenditure.
  • Support tax filings and statutory obligations as required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely general ledgers for individual entities, business units, and the consolidated group.
  • Ensure timely and accurate bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with payroll processing as needed.
  • Maintain effective governance frameworks and reporting systems to meet legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations.
  • Liaise with auditors and external advisors to support compliance and corporate integrity.
  • Ensure internal controls and audit processes are robust and aligned with industry standards.
  • Undertake finance-related project work at the direction of the Head of Finance or other members of the finance team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar Financial Accountant role.
  • Workday General Ledger experience highly desirable.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
