• Financial Data Preparation: Import financial data (1,000–25,000 lines) to complete asset-level journal entries for comingled and PE fund investment vehicles.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Expense Management: Review and approve property managers’ weekly draw requests for funds required to cover operating expenses and capital expenditures.
• Variance Analysis: Review and prepare variance analyses on third-party property managers’ financial statements, investigating unusual fluctuations and unexpected activities.
• Property Tax Management: Maintain tracking databases to ensure timely payment and accurate recording of property taxes across the portfolio.
• Policy Oversight: Assist in developing and ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures, including cash management, bad-debt write-offs, and expense capitalization.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures at the portfolio and asset levels for senior management and external investors.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with and support internal and external property management and asset management teams as needed.
• Cash Projections: Collaborate with the capital markets team to maintain forward-looking projections of the cash position for each investment vehicle.

Accounts Payable

• Lead the full-cycle accounts payable (AP) function for the Single-Family Rental (SFR) property operations division, including construction and maintenance-related activities.
• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process for construction, maintenance, HOA, legal, utility, compliance and other corporate payables.
• Review, code, and process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and budget approvals.
• Lead monthly AP close activities including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Maintain and enforce controls around invoice & vendor approval workflows, payment schedules, and vendor compliance (e.g., W-9s, insurance certificates, lien waivers).
• Partner with construction, property operations, and procurement teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and support project-level tracking.
• Manage vendor onboarding and maintain vendor master records in accounting systems.
• Support audits, internal reporting, and ad hoc financial projects as needed.
• Continuously improve AP processes and systems for scale, automation, and efficiency.

• Provide ad hoc assistance in market research, financial modeling, and analysis for investor presentations, portfolio transactions, and special projects

Acquisitions Analyst, Single-Family Rentals

• Support the firm’s capital markets activities across debt and equity with focus on credit facility management, loan compliance, cash flow optimization, and real estate finance initiatives
• Manage day-to-day administration of the Company’s credit facilities and lending relationships
• Oversee the loan submission process, including diligence coordination, documentation, and issue resolution
• Prepare, coordinate, and execute borrowing requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with facility terms
• Monitor covenant compliance and proactively identify potential risks
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, lenders, and external stakeholders
• Assist in tracking capital raises and equity funding activity and support reporting on debt and equity positions
