About the role
- Leverage expertise to support clients in the areas of project planning and management as required
- Support a team of technology experts and clients to deliver agreed upon objectives and measurements, on time and within budget
- Manage multiple client facing projects simultaneously that will vary in technologies, including all aspects of the project over the project life cycle to ensure the constraints are effectively managed (cost, schedule, risk, quality, people)
- Act as a consultant and trusted advisor, working closely with management, technical teams and stakeholders
- Guide projects from conception to final implementation and measuring the results in a data driven manner
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a Project Manager position with a focus on large scale enterprise project upgrades and/or implementations
- Experience managing digital transformation or IT infrastructure projects
- Experience with network upgrades or replacements (Cisco and/or Palo Alto)
- Experience with virtualization transitions (e.g., VMware to Nutanix preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server upgrades across multiple versions
- Experience with Windows Server upgrades
- Experience with Linux Server upgrades (RedHat and/or CentOS)
- Experience with storage infrastructure upgrades
- Exceptional communication skills
- Knowledge of change and problem management and ability to anticipate risks
- Ability to build relationships and foster trust with stakeholders, project teams and project leaders
- Strong team-oriented mindset with the proven ability to lead on complex IT projects
- Proven experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies
- Previous consulting experience (preferred)
- Microsoft certifications (preferred)
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Agile certification (preferred)
