About the role
- Create and execute social media content plans, including video, image, and text-based posts.
- Feature in social media content, representing the University's brand and values.
- Engage with the University's online community, responding to comments and messages.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to develop content ideas and strategies.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices, ensuring the University's online presence remains relevant and engaging.
- Uphold the University's social media policy and code of conduct at all times.
- Attend and represent the University at external events and conferences, as required.
- Assist with social media campaigns and initiatives, ensuring a consistent brand image.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse audience.
- Strong creativity and a passion for social media, with a keen eye for visual and written content.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools, including content creation and analytics.
- A good understanding of online branding and the ability to represent the University's values.
