Payroll

• Supervise the payroll team and ensure the timely and accurate operational payroll and pension services for the University
• Lead on delivering the normal monthly payroll cycle
• Provide the Head of Payroll with a full audit trail of checks, reports and summary sheet
• Ensure payroll deadlines are met accurately and on time
• Deputise for the Head of Payroll as needed, including representing the University externally and providing training to colleagues in payroll and Human Resources

• Conduct targeted literature searches on AI, work, and employee identity
• Summarise and synthesise academic articles and reports
• Assist with data collection (e.g., surveys, interviews, participant recruitment)
• Support basic data organisation and documentation
• Undertake other research-related tasks as required by the Principal Investigator
