About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure regulatory compliance with external and internal standards.
- Serve as a subject-matter reference for matters related to the Central Bank of Brazil (Banco Central do Brasil), monitoring new regulations and ensuring proper implementation of existing rules.
- Identify and assess regulatory risks, proposing mitigation measures to ensure compliance.
- Issue assessment opinions on new products and services.
- Prepare periodic reports on the status of risk exposures and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the focal point for projects.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to internal processes.
- Prepare management reports and compliance KPIs for senior management.
- Serve as a point of contact with regulatory authorities and respond to regulatory inquiries.
- Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions and awareness campaigns on compliance.
- Support leadership in developing less experienced professionals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
- Deep knowledge of regulations applicable to the financial sector (Central Bank of Brazil - BACEN).
