Engineering Specialist
Lojas Renner S.A.Lead technical responsibility for high complexity construction projects at Lojas Renner S.A. Supporting project management, compliance, and quality assurance across various store types.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for providing technical leadership on high-complexity construction projects, including flagships, new store formats, full renovations and special projects
- Support management in reviewing scopes, contracts, budgets, schedules and KPIs, ensuring deliveries meet quality, timeline, cost and safety standards
- Propose technical improvements and process innovations, develop suppliers, support team training and participate in strategic performance forums for the area
- Provide technical leadership on large-scale, high-complexity projects and construction works, with autonomy for technical decision-making
- Review scopes, technical appendices, contracts, budgets, schedules and construction KPIs
- Conduct technical analyses, project coordination, solution alternatives and recommendations for leadership decision-making
- Serve as a reference for supplier, contractor and program manager management, including negotiation, evaluation, development and continuity of the partner base
- Propose technological innovations, standardizations and process improvements to increase efficiency, quality and predictability of deliveries
- Support the technical development of team members and participate in performance review committees.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with active professional registration where applicable
- Solid experience managing commercial construction projects, retail stores, shopping centers, complex renovations or high-criticality projects
- Proficient in project management, contract management, scheduling, budgeting, KPIs and physical-financial control of construction works
- Knowledge of project interpretation and review, technical standards, procurement processes, negotiation and supplier management
- Preferred experience with quick-turnaround projects, stores in operation, full renovations, new store formats or strategic retail projects
- Recommended minimum of 8 years of experience
