About the role
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents (e.g., phishing, credential compromise).
- Ensure the maintenance and availability of security tools.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for incident response outside standard business hours.
- Prepare and present security metrics and reports to management and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic alignment and incident communication.
- Support the definition of security strategies and provide rationale for decisions to executive levels.
- Prepare to assume temporary leadership responsibilities and, in the future, a management position.
Requirements
- Experience in security incident response.
- Knowledge of security tools (antivirus, monitoring).
- Familiarity with LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law), personal data protection, and standards such as ISO.
- Desired experience with certifications (e.g., ISO, CISSP) — not required.
- Experience working in dynamic environments (e.g., startups) and a systemic/business-wide perspective.
