About the role
- Develop financial models using benchmarking and process analyses;
- Develop processes and controls for sales and receivables validation;
- Compare forecasted revenues to actuals, identify discrepancies, and drive resolution;
- Prepare periodic forecasts (quarterly and annualized);
- Prepare financial projections and models;
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for projections, performance analysis, and strategic decision support;
- Apply advanced financial formulas to calculate metrics such as IRR, Payback, ROI and others, ensuring robust financial analyses;
- Code and automate financial processes to optimize operational efficiency;
- Analyze large volumes of financial data from multiple sources using advanced database analysis techniques;
- Collaborate cross-functionally in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and feasibility of projections;
- Conduct research and analysis of historical financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities;
- Strong analytical skills to prepare reports on the financial position including revenues, costs, and expenses;
- Perform research on historical financial data;
- Participate in the preparation of budgets for departments and projects;
- Participate in internal training and development programs offered by the company;
- Perform other related duties of similar complexity as required by immediate leadership;
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration, Economics or related fields;
- Postgraduate degree in a related field;
- Advanced skills in financial formulas (calculation of IRR, Payback, ROI);
- Proficiency with programming/data modeling languages and tools (SQL, Python, R, MS Excel, Power BI, and Looker Studio);
- Expertise in financial investment calculations;
- Time management; adaptability; problem-solving; and strong communication skills;
