About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Update internal Firm systems and external client systems within expected timeframes
  • Sort, scan, categorize, label, digitally file, and organize legal documentation
  • Complete assigned work queue items within designated timeframes
  • Apply basic legal concepts and terminology to produce accurate work product
  • Assist with preparing required items for clients and courts
  • Review incoming documents and distribute them to appropriate parties
  • Communicate professionally and promptly by phone, email, and internal/external messaging systems
  • Complete all assigned training in the Firm LMS
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, client requirements, court rules, and best practices while providing quality legal services to financial institutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a technology-driven environment
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to follow basic instructions, job aids, procedures, and Firm policies
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively
  • Commitment to exceptional, responsive, time-bound service
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Computer savvy
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods
  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day
  • Ability to perform repetitive typing, clicking, and swiveling movements
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must complete the I-9 process and provide identity and work-eligibility documentation
