Provides enthusiastic, professional, quality, prompt, and courteous service to members, prospective members, and the LFCU team
Cultivates strong member relationships by providing exceptional service to both new and existing members while educating and helping them identify their financial needs, opening and maintaining new/existing accounts, and recommending suitable financial products
Executes daily operations of the Credit Union's Member Experience protocols according to established standards
Proactively manages staff schedules and coordinates with the team to ensure adequate coverage during business hours and availability on the sales platform, including analyzing peak times and adjusting staffing
Contributes to the retail branch office sales goals by having a strong working knowledge of the comprehensive range of financial products
Participates in business development activities including making outbound calls to introduce products and services and highlight promotions
Contributes to the profitable growth of the branch by participating in marketing campaigns, community events and member awareness seminars
Processes member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and requests for information efficiently, accurately, and promptly
Performs teller and referral functions, processes fraud claims and reissues/re-pin's debit and credit cards
As directed, manages a cash drawer while adhering to assigned limits and policies and ensures the cash drawer is in balance daily
Contacts members by phone using daily reports to assess satisfaction and addresses/resolves member questions or escalates as needed
Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies (e.g., Truth in Savings Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending Practices)
Participates in staff development programs and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum Education Level: High School or GED
Preferred: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 12 months of Current or Prior Banking Experience (Minimum Years of Experience: 1)
Preferred Years of Experience: 2
A strong working knowledge of complex teller transactions and new accounts functions
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional member service in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
A professional and polished appearance with excellent written, communication and social skills
A working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office products
Demonstrates attention to detail and an ability to audit
A demonstrated sales skills aptitude
May complete new accounts and consumer lending training
Must be adaptable and available to work at any branch location as needed
Must reliably arrive to work on time, according to the scheduled hours
