About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a finance business partner-mate to departmental heads, providing financial guardrails, challenging spend assumptions, and identifying savings opportunities
  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes for the designated business departments, ensuring alignment with corporate targets and continuous improvement in Forecast accuracy
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly financial performance reviews with qualified commentary. Explain the 'what' happened and focus on the 'why' and 'what do we do next to improve our results.'
  • Support the departmental leadership with financial models to evaluate new business investments and initiatives, including ROI, CapEx and similar expansion plans.
  • Oversee the purchase order (PO) receiving process and ensure the prompt, compliant management of accruals in strict alignment with monthly and quarterly closing schedules.
  • Own, enhance and further automate the comprehensive budget trackers to the stakeholders
  • Compile departmental fluctuation analysis and MRC review report for internal audit
  • Educate business teams on financial policies, definitions and processes
  • Engage in Corporate digital transformation projects with AI/BI solutions
  • Provide timely financial support to finance and business teams
  • Build strong relationships and foster teamwork within business groups, overall finance, and Corporate supporting functions (P&C, Procurement, IT etc.)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of prior experience in corporate finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or financial accounting senior role, experience in Business Finance (Marketing or Engineering Finance Partner) is an added plus
  • Experience working with cross functional teams located in EMEA region or globally, is a plus
  • Accountable to work independently, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; must be able to form positive relationships with business partners and peers
  • Experience in managing large amounts of financial data with the highest degree of accuracy
  • Excel power user with advanced skill in formulas, strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Google Docs
  • Experience in OneStream and Oracle; Tableau or other BI systems, database relationship structure knowledge highly recommended
  • Work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Professional, articulate, diligent, hardworking, curious, and self-motivated.
  • A passion for problem-solving, identifying trends and turning confusion into comprehension
  • A genuine desire to understand how our business works from the ground up, not just through the lens of a ledger.
