About the role

  • Evaluate and redefine processes for managing enterprise data (Product, Customer, Financial, Operational)
  • Design solutions to migrate offline or legacy workflows to enterprise systems
  • Define data ownership, quality control, and lineage management structures
  • Establish data governance processes and standardized data models
  • Develop and execute project plans for data governance and process improvement initiatives
  • Assign ownership roles and lead end-to-end management of data governance projects
  • Design processes for capturing, validating, and managing enterprise data to meet compliance
  • Define OKRs for enterprise data and integrate automated tracking and measurement tools
  • Act as primary liaison between business teams, technical teams, and external vendors
  • Lead user training, change management programs, and promote enterprise-wide adoption
  • Report into the head of Data Management, Reporting and Visualization as an individual contributor

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience leading digitization, process optimization, and data governance projects at an enterprise level
  • Deep expertise in transforming offline or manual workflows into enterprise-grade system solutions
  • Proven ability to implement and monitor SMART KPIs and drive measurable outcomes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with global teams
  • Solid problem-solving skills for complex cross-functional issues
  • Experience with data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Salesforce (preferred)
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Process Improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking practices (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
  • Fluency in English
