About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Test automation: You develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and continuously expand our test automation efforts.
Test architecture: You help shape our test frameworks, ensuring maintainability and scalability, and introduce best practices.
Performance & load testing: You build our performance and load tests from the ground up, analyze how changes affect our web apps using Azure tools, and help the team identify bottlenecks early.
CI/CD integration: You integrate tests into our pipelines so that quality becomes an integral part of the development process.
Test planning & design: You create test strategies and test cases to systematically ensure our software quality.
Manual & exploratory testing: Where automation is not appropriate, you perform targeted manual and exploratory tests.
Bug analysis & reporting: You find bugs, document them clearly, and work closely with the development teams to resolve them.
Continuous improvement: You optimize test processes, introduce new tools and methods (including AI-assisted ones), and help the team continuously improve software quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education & background: You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
Testing expertise: You have experience with test automation for web applications, are familiar with manual testing techniques, and know test frameworks such as xUnit.
Tech stack: You are proficient in C# and have ideally worked with .NET (preferably recent versions) and Entity Framework Core.
API testing: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestSharp) is a plus.
CI/CD & cloud: You have experience integrating tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Performance testing & Azure: Ideally, you are familiar with performance testing tools (e.g., Azure Load Testing) and Azure services (especially Web Apps and Application Insights).
Clean code: You have a strong understanding of clean code principles and write tests that are maintainable and understandable.
AI mindset: You see AI not as hype or a threat but as a core part of modern software development, and you want to continuously evolve your work with new technologies.
Team player: You actively contribute in meetings, think critically, and support teams in implementing QA best practices.
