About the role

  • Actively acquire new customers through various sales channels and expand existing customer relationships
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and relevant industry events
  • Advise customers and develop tailored logistics and outsourcing solutions
  • Prepare, evaluate and manage tenders from an economic perspective
  • Analyze buying centers and develop compelling USPs in close collaboration with internal departments
  • Closely coordinate proposals and tenders with management
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signing, including support in contract negotiations

Requirements

  • University degree in logistics or a comparable qualification/training is desirable
  • At least five years' professional experience in sales or business development within contract logistics
  • Proven track record in acquiring new customers and sustainable business development
  • Excellent knowledge of the German contract logistics market, complemented by a strong, practical industry network
  • Strong sales and communication skills with a clear hunter mentality
  • Good written and spoken English
  • High mobility and willingness to travel within Germany
  • High self-motivation, entrepreneurial mindset and actions, and strong team spirit
