Business Development Manager
Logistics UKBusiness Development Manager responsible for growing Logistics UK's Vision cloud platform. Engaging stakeholders and converting prospects into long-term customers while influencing fleet management and compliance solutions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generating new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and successfully converting prospects into long-term customers.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the Vision platform.
- Working closely with both commercial and operational teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience.
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from Transport Managers through to Board Directors.
- Identifying and developing new opportunities for the Vision platform.
- Building, managing, and converting a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Delivering engaging presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to customers at all levels.
- Supporting the successful onboarding and implementation of new customers.
- Acting as the Vision product specialist, providing support, guidance, and expertise to the wider commercial team.
- Gathering market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in a Business Development, Account Management, or consultative sales role.
- Strong pipeline management and track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Strong relationship building and networking abilities.
- Comfortable delivering presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
- Experience selling SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions.
- Knowledge of fleet management, operator licensing, or transport compliance.
- Understanding of drivers' hours legislation and tachograph compliance.
- Experience operating within the logistics, transport, or fleet sector.
