About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with the design team to develop and implement project plans, including concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documents
Conduct site visits and perform site analysis to ensure project feasibility and compliance with local building codes and regulations
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
Communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants to coordinate project requirements and resolve any design issues
Review and approve project submittals, including shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on commercial or hospitality projects
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
Willingness to travel for occasional site visits and meetings
