About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own architectural decisions and drive the technical evolution of the backend stack
Lead complex database and integration projects, including data modeling and migration strategies
Design and build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices and APIs
Define the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance across the team
Work in an agile, cross-functional product team
Participate in short daily stand-ups and maintain direct communication
Build clean, maintainable code and scalable architecture

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Go
Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, and data modeling
Open mindset toward AI-assisted software development
Hands-on experience with coding agents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
High degree of ownership
Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and solve complex technical challenges
Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership (nice to have)
People management experience (a plus)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments (nice to have)
