About the role

  • Lead end-to-end strategic procurement and contracting processes of medium to high complexity, including structuring and running BIDs, RFQs and RFPs, from demand assessment through contractual formalization, ensuring adherence to the Procurement Policy, compliance and alignment with business strategy;
  • Develop the sourcing plan, perform market mapping and analysis, prospect, qualify and develop suppliers, and lead complex negotiations focused on total cost of acquisition (TCO), lead time, quality, service levels and commercial terms;
  • Conduct commercial and financial analysis of contracts managed by the Procurement area, including evaluation of proposals, commercial comparisons, financial impact analysis, and negotiation of prices, adjustments, payment terms, fines, penalties and SLAs, in collaboration with Legal, Finance and Tax teams;
  • Act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders by maintaining continuous alignment, gaining a deep understanding of business needs and prioritizing requests — including in urgent or critical scenarios — to ensure deadlines and sustainable solutions;
  • Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, leading negotiations and renegotiations, monitoring performance and resolving conflicts to ensure contractual compliance and continuity of supply;
  • Ensure correct use of procurement tools and systems, and control, analyze and report area indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making;
  • Identify opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, contracting and supplier management to drive efficiency gains, cost reduction, risk mitigation and stronger governance.

Requirements

  • Education: University degree (Bachelor's) completed;
  • Languages: English (advanced preferred);
  • Advanced strategic negotiation skills, with mastery of techniques applied to critical and strategic categories, including total cost analysis (TCO), should-cost, savings, cost avoidance and complex renegotiations;
  • Strategic Sourcing experience, including structuring and running BID, RFQ and RFP processes, defining category strategies, performing comparative proposal analysis and making data- and risk-informed decisions;
  • Category and supplier management experience, using the Kraljic Matrix for spend segmentation, defining procurement strategies, mitigating risks and developing strategic suppliers;
  • Financial analysis applied to procurement, with knowledge of accounting, tax and accounts payable, including evaluation of taxes, contractual adjustments and financial performance indicators;
  • Contract management and compliance, with the ability to perform commercial contract analysis, negotiate financial clauses, SLAs, fines and penalties, and monitor contract term and performance.
