About the role
- Recruiting and training new agents, setting sales targets, and developing strategies to increase quotes and sales
- Coach members of the sales team to deliver a standard of customer care to meet company standards
- Oversee the sales team to achieve operational targets and monitor performance
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the insurance sector
- Provide expert advice on insurance products and coverage options
- Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers to meet the agreed upon production and active customer goals
- Report on results, recommend initiatives to increase sales, identify obstacles and solutions to overcome to increase sales
- Providing sales strategies, feedback, and marketing plans
- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments
- Answering customer queries
- Mediating disputes with customers
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge
- Work closely with other departments, such as underwriting, marketing, and operations, to streamline sales processes and enhance customer experience
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Call center sales experience is a must
- The candidate should have prior experience leading, coaching, and mentoring at a managerial level in an insurance sales call center
- Must have prior experience designing/implementing a sales funnel
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance policies, regulations, and laws to ensure accurate advice and compliance
- In addition to Search Engine Optimization/marketing experience, ideal candidate should have experience managing Google Ads (Campaigns, Ad groups, Keywords, and the like)
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative team environment
- Ability to build relationships with sales customers
- Ambitious professional motivated by opportunity for advancement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions
- Ability to lead a remote sales force
- Preferred experience using HubSpot for lead management
