About the role

  • Analyze and manage billing for SaaS services, considering different billing modalities (monthly, quarterly, annual) and their specific requirements.
  • Verify the correct application of tax rates (ISS, PIS/COFINS, etc.).
  • Monitor customer collections, identifying and resolving delays or outstanding issues.
  • Post paid invoices/titles in financial systems.
  • Implement effective collection strategies, pursuing recovery of receivables both amicably and through legal channels when necessary.
  • Negotiate payment terms and conditions with B2B clients, seeking solutions that meet both company and client interests.
  • Review supplier invoices within financial systems.
  • Control payments made and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Analyze investment options available in the financial market, considering liquidity needs and the company’s short-, medium- and long-term objectives for a SaaS business.
  • Execute investment placements and redemptions in accordance with the company’s internal policies.
  • Monitor investment performance and prepare follow-up reports.
  • Prepare delinquency/arrears monitoring reports with SaaS-specific indicators (churn rate, retention rate, conversion rate, suspended accounts, etc.).
  • Actively participate in data collection to support accounting for audit delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in financial operations (minimum 5 years).
  • Knowledge of fiscal and tax legislation applicable to SaaS companies.
  • Proficiency with electronic invoicing systems.
  • Experience with account reconciliation, including MRR and ARR.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of SaaS performance metrics.
  • Previous experience in a startup environment.
