About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide senior expertise and leadership to our Design teams across multiple offices, collaborating closely with Community Planning, Environmental, Cultural Resources, Historic Preservation, and Housing teams
  • Help lead project design direction and integrate urban design with landscape architecture, transportation, planning, and public realm initiatives
  • Play an active role in business development and marketing, including proposals, interviews, and client presentations, while strengthening client relationships
  • Mentor and support professional and technical staff, fostering collaboration, skill development, and career growth
  • Manage team workflows, schedules, and resources to meet project requirements
  • Consistently embody the firm's vision, mission, and core values in your work and interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 12+ years of relevant consulting, agency, or municipal experience, including project management and client management
  • Licensure or certification (PLA, AICP, CNU, LEED or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in directing teams, mentoring staff, and supporting professional growth
  • Proven business development and marketing skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and integration of urban design, planning, and landscape architecture
  • Excellent project management skills, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work across disciplines and with clients
  • Ability to work in the office an average of 3 days per week
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
