About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide senior expertise and leadership to our Design teams across multiple offices, collaborating closely with Community Planning, Environmental, Cultural Resources, Historic Preservation, and Housing teams
- Help lead project design direction and integrate urban design with landscape architecture, transportation, planning, and public realm initiatives
- Play an active role in business development and marketing, including proposals, interviews, and client presentations, while strengthening client relationships
- Mentor and support professional and technical staff, fostering collaboration, skill development, and career growth
- Manage team workflows, schedules, and resources to meet project requirements
- Consistently embody the firm's vision, mission, and core values in your work and interactions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
- 12+ years of relevant consulting, agency, or municipal experience, including project management and client management
- Licensure or certification (PLA, AICP, CNU, LEED or equivalent)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in directing teams, mentoring staff, and supporting professional growth
- Proven business development and marketing skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and integration of urban design, planning, and landscape architecture
- Excellent project management skills, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work across disciplines and with clients
- Ability to work in the office an average of 3 days per week
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
