About the role
- Act as the bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring the product meets the business needs;
- Gather, document, and validate requirements, translating them into clear, prioritized user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria;
- Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on value, dependencies, and strategic objectives;
- Lead alignment meetings with clients and stakeholders, making scope adjustments as needed;
- Prepare and maintain planning documents such as scope, schedules, delivery roadmap, and project plan;
- Monitor the execution of the team's activities, ensuring traceability of deliveries and monitoring productivity;
- Facilitate agile ceremonies: planning, refinements, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and acceptance testing/approvals;
- Support the creation of project status reports and performance indicators for the team and the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in progress, or a completed bachelor's degree accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (Lato Sensu and/or Stricto Sensu) in Information Technology;
- Scrum certification (PSM I, PSM II, CSM or equivalent);
- Solid experience as a Product Owner in software development projects;
- Deep knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
- Experience creating and managing backlogs, with business-value-driven prioritization;
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and technical teams;
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar;
- Experience with planning documents (project plan, schedule, scope control);
- Ability to estimate timelines and track team progress with traceability of activities.
