About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure, reliability, and performance issues
Plan, coordinate, and drive cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives
Facilitate team workflows (planning, standups, retrospectives)
Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize cloud environments through automation and best practices
Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to align priorities and delivery timelines
Drive continuous improvement, including adoption of new technologies and cost optimization strategies
Mentor and coach engineers, supporting technical growth and fostering a strong team culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and distributed systems
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve advanced issues across distributed systems
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and drive cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives
Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines
Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a technical or team leadership capacity
