About the role

  • Owning full-cycle recruiting primarily for our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization—including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Engineering—while stepping in to support technical and G&A roles as needed.
  • Partnering with leadership to build our recruiting engine from the ground up, helping to select tools, establish best practices, and design interview workflows.
  • Acting as a trusted strategic advisor to hiring managers, coaching them on scorecarding, bias mitigation, and closing strategies.
  • Sourcing and engaging passive talent to build high-quality pipelines, ensuring we are not relying solely on inbound applicants for critical roles.
  • Driving an exceptional candidate experience by ensuring transparent communication and efficient processes for every individual who enters our pipeline.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting within a high-growth tech startup, with a specific depth of expertise in GTM (Sales and Revenue) hiring.
  • A "builder" mindset with the ability to operate in an ambiguous environment—you enjoy setting up processes where none existed before.
  • Versatility and agility to pivot between high-volume GTM roles and niche searches across other departments as the company scales.
  • Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with modern AI recruiting tools.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to act as a partner to the business, not just an order taker.
  • Previous Startup experience.
  • Bonus points for experience with Ashby, recruiting for open-source technology, developer tools, or Kubernetes-focused companies, referenceable experience hiring AE’s from 'Playbook' companies.
