About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Thoroughly understands all Hotel Emergency Response Procedures and is able to respond appropriately to all situations
- Monitors/controls access to all facility employee entrances, ensures that only authorized individuals enter
- Patrols front of house, back of house and exterior hotel areas, reporting any safety or security hazards, unacceptable behavior, or suspicious persons to Security Supervisor for direction and resolution
- Responds to all guest and employee incidents, gathers information, secures area if necessary to preserve evidence
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous Security experience required
- Excellent observation, communication, guest service and report writing skills
- Valid Florida Driver License preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required
