About the role
- Thoroughly understands all Hotel Emergency Response Procedures and is able to respond appropriately to all situations.
- Monitors/controls access to all facility employee entrances, ensures that only authorized individuals enter.
- Patrols front of house, back of house and exterior hotel areas, reporting any safety or security hazards, unacceptable behavior, or suspicious persons to Security Supervisor for direction and resolution.
- Responds to all guest and employee incidents, gathers information, secures area if necessary to preserve evidence.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Driver License preferred.
- Previous Security experience required.
- Basic English language communications required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent observation, communication, guest service and report writing skills.
- Requires full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
