• Manage the operational delivery of assigned in-person, virtual, and hybrid events to include pre-event planning, day-of event execution, and post-event communication.
• Oversee the entire event life cycle including site selection, contract negotiation, F&B planning, A/V coordination, onsite event execution, vendor management, budget and reconciliation, and creation of required event logistics documents.
• Under limited supervision, serve as primary onsite contact and coordinate setup and tear down of events.
• Greet all attendees in a professional and friendly manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Seek feedback from attendees, clients, and faculty to ensure a quality, educational experience.
• Create reports to analyze data of events to determine return on investment.
• Create and update department documents and presentations for each event.
• Work cross-functionally with department leaders and teams routinely to ensure they are informed of event project status.
• Participate in on-going training and development of company goals and direction to communicate with attendees.
• Responsible for maintaining company branded inventory for events and placing orders when needed.
• Travel about 60-70% annually for events and other company functions to assist in production of events and supervise vendor related logistics.

• Summary: In this role, the Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of medical communications projects from inception to completion, including content development, advisory boards, and speaker training.
• Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary project teams, interfacing with each department within the company, meeting client and management expectations, establishing strong faculty relationships, and ensuring programs remain on target and within agreed-upon parameters.
• The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with experience successfully leading multidisciplinary teams. We are seeking individuals with strong financial management skills who are highly organized, adept at multitasking/prioritizing, and have the ability and willingness to motivate others.
• Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and faculty members; Maintain and manage timely and professional written and verbal communications with clients and faculty members; Ensure client expectations are met on all levels of program activity; Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education; Develop new project budgets; Contribute to new business development activities within the account team; Manage budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of individual projects; Schedule and conduct start-up, interim, and final team meetings for each project, establish and maintain time and events schedules, and provide ongoing updates to client and team as required by account team on each initiative to ensure successful management and completion; Facilitate progress of multidisciplinary project teams to ensure within-budget, on-time, on-strategy performance; Own the detail of daily account work on each project; Oversee and facilitate development of all project activities, including faculty recruitment and ongoing communication, audience generation, content development, logistics management, registration/participant communication, production of materials, supplier performance, central file management; Assist in training new account team members as required; Maintain company policies as they pertain to all activities; Adhere to all Lockwood Group policies and standard operating procedures; Education: A bachelor’s degree is required.; Professional Skills & Experience: Three to five years of relevant project management experience in a healthcare communications environment is required. Candidates must have the ability to grasp and retain scientific information, along with a strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
This position can be performed remotely in all but the following locations: Colorado, New York City, San Francisco County, CA.
