About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage all aspects of medical communications projects from inception to completion, including content development, advisory boards, and speaker training
- Facilitate multidisciplinary project teams and interface with each company department
- Meet client and management expectations and maintain strong client and faculty relationships
- Ensure programs remain on target, within agreed parameters, on strategy, on time, and within budget
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and reconcile project budgets
- Manage external suppliers and resource allocation
- Provide ongoing updates to internal team members and client contacts
- Build and maintain knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states, and medical education
- Contribute to new business development activities within the account team
- Schedule and conduct project start-up, interim, and final team meetings
- Oversee faculty recruitment, audience generation, content development, logistics, registration and participant communications, materials production, supplier performance, and central file management
- Assist in training new account team members
- Maintain and follow company policies and standard operating procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Three to five years of relevant project management experience in a healthcare communications environment required
- Ability to grasp and retain scientific information
- Strong technical aptitude
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience successfully leading multidisciplinary teams
- Strong financial management skills
- Highly organized and adept at multitasking and prioritizing
- Ability and willingness to motivate others
