About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, develop, and oversee scientific content for assigned accounts across therapeutic areas, including Oncology, and for different target audiences
  • Work with the Group Scientific Director to provide strategic medical communication recommendations supporting brand goals
  • Independently lead execution of content development activities
  • Liaise with in-house and freelance staff to manage writing and other content-related tasks
  • Conduct background research
  • Perform data-checking and reference annotation
  • Manage projects within tight deadlines with limited direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • An advanced degree in science is required
  • 5 or more years of relevant job experience with promotional medical education and/or medical affairs content
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Ability to manage projects within tight deadlines with limited direction
  • Experience with established professional medical editorial processes, such as AMA style
  • Experience with ethical guidelines
  • Experience with solid and/or hematologic cancers is strongly preferred
