About the role
- Collaborate with corporate staff and management to build a high-performing roadway design engineering team; As the team grows, lead and manage a team or teams, including engineers and technicians.
- Manage local agency and DOT roadway design projects.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of roadway design projects.
- Develop new client relationships and seek out opportunities for new business with local agency and DOT clients.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- 12+ years of progressive experience in roadway design with extensive ODOT experience
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Experience with project management and accounting software
- Exceptional organization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
