Playing a key role in the growth, leadership, and development of the Ohio Structural team.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with DOT and local agency clients, assisting with business development for the Structural Engineering service line.
Applying knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of bridge and transportation structures design.
Performing as a project manager on DOT and local agency bridge design projects. Training and support is available if needed.
Reviewing complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
Assisting senior management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
Preparing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
Preparing proposals and funding applications.
As opportunities present themselves this role may also be involved in other various projects and responsibilities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Structural emphasis is helpful
Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) meeting Level 2 criteria
10+ years of Structural Engineering experience with an emphasis on bridge design projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
