About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead FinOps initiatives, promoting governance, financial efficiency and cost transparency for cloud services
Manage the financial operations of AWS, Azure, GCP and other platforms used by the organization
Conduct consumption analyses, identify variances, trends and optimization opportunities
Prepare forecasts, support budget planning and monitor the financial execution of cloud investments
Develop metrics and executive dashboards to track costs, consumption and operational efficiency
Support the definition and evolution of Showback, Chargeback and Cost Allocation models
Partner with Engineering, Architecture and Product teams to embed financial efficiency into technical decisions from the start of the development cycle
Lead optimization initiatives related to Savings Plans, Reserved Instances and other cost-reduction mechanisms
Automate financial analysis and management processes using Artificial Intelligence
Facilitate meetings with technical and executive stakeholders
Promote FinOps culture by sharing best practices, providing training and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in FinOps
Knowledge of AWS, Azure and GCP
Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and technology cost management
Understanding of pricing models, billing and cloud cost optimization
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across different teams
Consultative, analytical profile with a strong value-driven mindset.
