Trade-In Manager, Pre-Owned Vehicles

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategy, structuring and development of the trade-in/vehicle exchange function within the Pre-Owned Vehicles business, acting as the subject-matter reference for the commercial operation;
- Design and implement routines, processes, metrics and management rituals that increase conversion, efficiency and quality of the vehicle trade-in operation;
- Support frontline sales on a day-to-day basis, ensuring stores, store leadership and sales consultants have clarity on processes, opportunities, best practices and performance levers;
- Analyze commercial, operational and market data to identify improvement opportunities, prioritize actions and guide the area’s activities;
- Monitor the performance of consultants, stores, regions and partners, creating rankings, diagnostics and action plans for continuous improvement of results;
- Develop short-, medium- and long-term initiatives to increase penetration, conversion and profitability of the trade-in operation;
- Lead onboarding, training, enablement and engagement initiatives for the sales force, supporting the cultural and operational shift of the topic within stores;
- Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Technology, Data and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, prioritization and execution of initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science or related fields;
- Solid experience in commercial areas, operations, commercial intelligence, product, performance, commercial planning or related functions;
- Experience with retail operations, stores, commercial channels or high-intensity operational environments;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, diagnose problems, identify opportunities and build action plans;
- Experience managing KPIs, tracking performance, building dashboards, rankings and management routines;
- Execution-oriented profile with the ability to translate analyses into practical initiatives with the frontline sales teams;
- Experience in structuring processes, projects or new business fronts;
- Good communication, influence and stakeholder engagement skills, including with commercial teams, store leadership, corporate areas and executive management;
- Resilience, ownership mindset and ability to operate under high pressure, low process maturity and high business impact scenarios;
- Business acumen, structured thinking and the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day operations.
