About the role
- Develop continuous improvement projects based on losses, waste and constraints identified in production indicators, applying Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Roll out developed projects to other distribution centers (DCs), ensuring technology leveling, standardization across units and continuous updates to the BoP (Bill of Process).
- Ensure standardization of procedures and documents in production areas (work instructions, indicator boards, One Page Report, process sign-off).
- Provide support for DC management rituals (RDR, RSR, RMR, DDS).
- Conduct tests with suppliers, ensuring a holistic view of the entire project framework (safety, quality, productivity, costs, training).
- Perform analyses for opening shifts, capacity expansions and new Deactivation Centers, considering time and motion studies, leadership span, technical constraints and production volumes.
- Deliver ongoing Lean Manufacturing training to leadership and production teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.
- Experience with Lean philosophy, Continuous Improvement, WCM or TPS.
- Application and training in tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, standardized work, Kanban and FIFO.
- Hands-on experience in an industrial environment, directly involved in waste reduction and projects to increase productivity, quality and safety in production processes.
- Implementation of operational routines.
- Knowledge of visual management, focused on transparent indicators and performance tracking.
- Ability to perform time and methods studies aiming to optimize processes and increase productivity.
- Shop-floor experience with a focus on root-cause analysis of problems (PDCA).
- Advanced Office suite skills (Excel with strong command of formulas, charts and data analysis).
- Intermediate Power BI skills for building dashboards and visualizing indicators.
- Full availability to work on-site full time.
